St. Petersburg Connections

Location
The St. Petersburg Ferry Terminal is located next to the St. Petersburg Museum of History on 2nd Ave. North on the Pier Peninsula.
Parking
The City operates a surface parking lot next to the terminal. Parking is free for ferry passengers for the day of your trip as part of a promotional program sponsored by the City of St. Petersburg. You can pick up a parking voucher at the Ferry Terminal at the time of boarding.
St. Petersburg also operates two parking garages. The Sundial Garage is three blocks away, and the South Core Garage is five blocks away from the Ferry Terminal. Rates vary, but are generally $1 per hour, up to a maximum of $7 per day, excluding special events when pricing is a flat-rate that can vary between $5 and $15. Transit Connections
The St. Petersburg Ferry Terminal is served by two transit lines and a private downtown shuttle service. The transit lines are operated by the Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA) and its partner agency, the St. Petersburg Downtown Partnership. They include the Downtown Looper and the Central Avenue Trolley. SPRides is operated by a private company.
The Downtown Looper stops at the Beach Drive trolley station at the Ferry Terminal. The Looper circulates through Downtown St. Petersburg. Friday and Saturday service operates every 20 minutes between 5 p.m. every 15 minutes during the day starting at 10 a.m. Ferry passengers may ride the Downtown Looper at no charge by showing the driver their ferry receipt. The Central Avenue Trolley runs from the Ferry Terminal along St. Petersburg’s unique and popular Central Avenue to St. Pete Beach and Pass-A-Grille. It operates daily between 6 a.m. and at least 10 p.m. Its frequency varies depending upon the time of day. Go to http://psta.net/busschedules.php for more detailed schedule information. One-way fare is $2.25 per passenger, however there is a free fare zone between the Pier/Ferry Terminal and the Sundial, and a reduced fare zone between the Sundial and the Grand Central Terminal where the one-way fare is $.50 per passenger.
PSTA and the Hillsborough Area Regional Transit Authority (HART) also have a virtual 3-Day Unlimited Ride ticket for $11 and provides valid fare on all PSTA and HART bus services, including TECO Line Streetcar System, Jolley Trolley, and Looper Trolley. SPRides electric taxi service offers reliable, efficient door to door service throughout downtown and the surrounding neighborhoods for one flat rate. You can book a ride using the SPRides app, on the web at http://www.sprides.com/ or by hailing one of the colorfully wrapped electric Low Speed Vehicles at the ferry terminal or around town. Ferry passengers may receive Two for One fares by entering FERRY in the notes area when booking with the app.

Bicycle Connections

Tampa Convention Center Connections

Location
The Tampa Ferry Terminal is located at the Pirate Water Taxi dock, immediately next to the Tampa Convention Center.
Parking
There are three public parking garages within a five minute walk of the Tampa Ferry Terminal. The Tampa Bay Lightning also operates a surface parking lot next to the Tampa Ferry Terminal.
Parking is generally available in all these days except when there is either a major event at the Tampa Convention Center or an event at Amalie Arena. On such occasions, patrons are encouraged to make use of the Ft. Brooke Parking Garage which generally has availability even on event days.

Transit Connections
Transit service is provided by the TECO Streetcar during all ferry operating hours. There is a station directly across the street from the dock. Streetcars operate every 30 minutes in the morning, and every 20 minutes thereafter. A roundtrip costs $5.00 for adults and $2.50 for seniors and teenagers. An all-day family pass can be purchased for $12.50.
The Hillsborough Area Regional Transit Authority also operates the In-Towner Trolley with free service between the hours of 6 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. Go to http://gohart.org/ for more information about schedules and fares.
The Tampa Downtown Partnership also operates the Downtowner, a complimentary shuttle that provides “on demand” services within the core downtown area, which includes the Tampa Ferry Terminal. Bicycle Connections

Coast Bike share operates a bike share program with a stand located at the Tampa Ferry Terminal. Go to http://coastbikeshare.com/ There are 300 bikes and 40 hubs including one across the street from the dock.
Water Taxi Service
Tampa provides connecting services through local water taxis. The Tampa Pirate Water Taxi service provides a unique local water transit connection through a scheduled water taxi service that operates between the Hillsborough County History Center and Rick’s on the River. Fares are $15 for adults and $8 for children for an all-day pass. This connection is very convenient as the Cross-Bay Ferry operates from the Tampa Pirate Water Taxi dock.
